We are always looking for good people to join our national lineup of Rodders Representatives. As a Goodguys Rodders Rep you will join an elite fraternity of fellow rodders, carrying on the legacy and vision of our late founder Gary “Goodguy” Meadors. Having fun with cars and promoting good times is what we’re all about!

You can help us preserve our hot rod hobby and carry the Goodguys message to your local car clubs and car community by dedicating just a few hours of your time! As a Rodders Rep you will have fun, be seen, be heard and you will be taken care of! Perks are numerous including FREE registration for any Goodguys event you attend, a FREE one year Goodguys GOLD membership, earn hotel credits for your event stay, in-store and online merchandise discounts, and an exclusive opportunity to join our events team in coordinating our national events. Plus we’ll send you an exclusive polo shirt, name badge and a year-end Christmas gift.

Come along for the ride and welcome aboard!

General Guidelines
  • As a Rep, it is important to reflect a professional attitude. Whether you are at a local cruise or a Goodguys National Event, the public is always around.
  • If you need any supplies or have any questions, please send your request to your Divisional Rep.
  • A big part of being a Rodders Rep is encouraging membership in the Association. Please refer to the New Membership/Renewal Instructions
  • Many Rodders Reps enjoy setting up information tables at local cruises or indoor shows. Always get permission from the individuals or group putting on the event. If there is an exhibitor fee involved – you need to get Goodguys approval. Most costs associated with car shows can be covered or reimbursed.
  • Business cards are to be utilized only to promote the organization. Under no circumstances should they be used for personal gain or to obtain any form of monetary return from vendors, whether they are involved with Goodguys or not.
At Event Guidelines
  • A Rodders Rep is not eligible for our give-away prizes. This includes Choice Product Prizes at individual events and Grand Prizes given away at the end of the year. Obviously it would be quite hard to explain if one of us won a prize vehicle or other gifts.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the Goodguys Giveaway booth. As a Rep your actions are a direct reflection of the Goodguys organization. Please use discretion whenever you are seen in a Goodguys Rep shirt.
  • If you bring your rod or custom to an event, it must be registered - even though you have a "Rodders Rep" name badge. All Rodders Reps receive a complimentary entry at any Goodguys event and must go through the registration process to receive event credentials. Be sure to bring your Rodders Rep badge as verification.
  • If you attend an event without your "ride" you must follow the parking rules of the event. Late model vehicles must be parked in spectator or commercial vendor parking.
  • When you attend an event, we expect you to spend some time each day assisting in the Choice Product Giveaway booth and Join booth. On average, this assistance is about three hours per day. This helps the organization and gives our members an opportunity to meet you, especially at events in your division.
  • Each Rodders Rep who works at a National event will receive 2 complimentary event t-shirts. (The cost of these t-shirts may not be used as credit toward purchasing other items) You are also allowed to purchase Goodguys’ merchandise at a discounted rate. You must talk to the “Merchandise Manager” at an event to receive your items. Reps are not allowed inside a merchandise booth – and please do your shopping at non-peak hours.
  • We enjoy and encourage Reps to help with other aspects of the event such as special awards areas, track cruises, etc. If you decide that you would like to help, speak to the Event Director or Divisional Rep to see where extra help is needed.
